A self taught painter, my love for the myriad of paints, brushes and various media led me to discover how much I loved pattern and design and that became a playground for the exploration of illustration that often includes collage and digital media. I originally created greeting cards from my original oil paintings but with the desire to add media I wouldn’t ordinarily have the opportunity to use, I started a collection of greeting cards with Christmas themes, the easiest season to design for, using watercolour, collage and digital media. Based on this success, I challenged myself to create for other seasons and reasons and so it grows.

The village I live in is a constant source of inspiration and I will use references specific to the picturesque scenery that I enjoy and meant for local buyers only. Having said that, it is possible to apply that to custom commissions.

An off shoot of this collection is the addition of frame worthy quotes sold as 5” x 7” prints in white mats available at Que de Bonnes Choses and Boutique Café Juniper in Hudson or directly from me.
